I dunno - my TV's far too small to much anything on, let alone violence..
I'd get a bigger screen - but I think there is too much violence on TV

There is too much for me, but it is a free country so I turn it off. You can watch the violence. I do worry that we teach people who have enough trouble with reality ways in which they can cause pain to others that they would not have come up with on their own.
I do think that if we are entertained by violence, then real violence is not as shocking and therefore, we are less inclined (as a society and world) to fix it.

I would say yes. TV does not do the best way to portray a real lifestyle!
For Example: 24 (TV SHOW)
What person has a life like that! Every episode has some kind of explosion and gunshooting!
