But I was wondering what should I do for it this year?

My cousin has a birthday on St. Patricks Day too! So I would say have a theme of green. You can call it My Lucky Day Party or something. Go out and cath a movie or have dinner. If you have a lot of people then invite them to your house and party the house up. Put some appetizers out and crank the music and just have fun. You can take the party outdoor( in your backyard) Play games. Not childish games but games like Taboo. You can also play a game where you get in a circle and pass a stuffed animal around and whoever gets it has to say something thats green. You can have gift bags. Your theme is green. Tell everyone to wear green and bring stuff green. And as for your cake. Make it with greeen frosting. I am just leaving options open and I hope you like them. Good Luck. And happy early birthday!

Do what most Irish people will be doing - go to a pub (Irish of course) and watch the 6 Nations Rugby of Ireland vs Italy. It's the last game in the 6 Nations so with any luck we'll also be winning the championship on that day also!
(if you are in the States all the better - you'll have an even longer day to party after the game!)

Find a town with a big Irish population and go have fun! Put on a t-shirt telling everyone it's your birthday! I did that for years in a town called Butte, Montana and i hardly ever had to buy drinks!! Have fun!

you should hang out with some of your best friends, and gather family members and throw a party for yourself. celebrate your birthday and St. Patricks Day at the same time. what can be more fun than spending time with your best friends, and family on your birthday and St. Patricks. I think it will be a BLASTS...have fun....

Have a cooking party..Find some irish dishes and assign jobs..and have a nice dinner..that way there is alot of conversation in the room while cooking and everyone participates.
