Is there anything I can do to fix this and NOT do to keep it from happening? Any help is much appreciated...

Soldieraman is right but set the min and maximum size to a same value and try to have the size to be four times of your RAM size. That is, if you have 256 MB Ram set the
minimum page size to 1024 and
maximum page size to 1024.

Having both the size to the same value will increase your system speed.

right click on my computer

properties

Click Advanced from above tab

Under performance click settings

Click advacned again from tab menu

Under virtual memory click change

click custom size
put it 1000 to 1500

or more if you have space

click set
apply ok

u may be asked to restart

this means you need more ram or that you are running too many applications....press control + ALT + Delete (and go to task manager(if you are using XP pro)) and close out the applications that you are not using..... hope this helps

Also- there are advertising pop-ups that tell you this to get you to buy their stuff. If it is a pop-up, close it and ignore it.
