When you are pregnant you must take special precautions to protect both yourself and your unborn child from illness when traveling to underdeveloped countries. However, many immunizations and medications routinely recommended for travelers are either unsafe or have not been adequately studied in pregnant women
ALSO
Travel during the last six weeks of pregnancy is not recommended and may precipitate labor. Airlines often restrict the boarding privileges of such individuals. Prior to planning a trip abroad, pregnant travelers should first check with their obstetrician to assess their individual risks and determine whether they can travel safely ........hopethis will help -Kristy

you sure can travel. Flying may have to be cleared by a doctor and airline after 36 weeks. They don't want you to go into labor on the plane. if you are flying just make sure you get up and walk the aisles if you are in the air a long time. As far as driving goes, just make sure you know where the bathrooms are! Check the link for more info.

It's depending on your destination and your health. Check with your doc before you travel and tell him/her where and how long you will be going. if by air, most airline do not allow a pregnant woman to travel 3 months before the due date. However, one of the ladies i know told me that she travelled 1 month before due date by air. She had to get the doctor's recommendation letter stating that she is healthy enough to travel. So, i would suggest you to talk with your doc depending on your travelling distance and health.

I say yes. My husband and I moved to GA. from FL. when I was 36 weeks pregnant. A lot of doctors don't like it, especially being that far along, but I didn't go into labor

I have heard and read (alot) that if you are in your last trimester, even if things are going well that you should stay within an hours drive of your hospital.

It maybe uncomfortable and you may have to make more potty breaks but as long as your doctor doesn't say you can't go for it.
