If you mean:

7/(m - 6) - m/(6 - m)

Then you can also write that as:

7/(m - 6) - m/((-1)(m - 6))

Then you can take the -1 in the denominator and put it in the numerator (since 1/-1 = -1/1):

7/(m - 6) - (-m)/(m - 6)

Now you can combine:

(7 - (-m))/(m - 6)

(7 + m)/(m - 6)

That's choice b.

7/(m-6) -m/(6-m)
=7(m-6) + m/(m-6)
=(7+m)/(m-6)
Hence b is correct
