Lets answer question 2 first. You "flip" a fraction when dividing by a fraction. The flip converts the operation to a multiplication.

The problem can be solved in one of two ways and I dont know the way they teach you, so I'll go with the way I know. You need to combine the integer (3) and the fraction (2/3), since each is being multiplied. We can come up with a fraction in thirds, 3*3/3 + 2/3 = 11/3
The multiplication leads to 66/3, which divides out to 22.

To solve this change the mix fraction 3 2/3 to improper fraction by multiplying the whole number by the denominator then add the numerator to get 11/3.
Solution :
3 2/3x6=11/3x6
=66/3
=22
That's it.

When you are dividing fractions you multiply by the reciprocal, or "flip it".

for example 1/2 / 1/2 = 1/2 * 2/1 = 1

"3 2/3x6" is not a proper maths question

3 2/3 = 11/3 = 11 * (1/3)

(11 * (1/3) ) * 6 = 11 * ((1/3) * 6) = 11 * 2

That's the idea.
