I would strongly suggest calling the company and indicating that you had a change of heart and you are seeking employment elsewhere--be forward and honest. I am an at home business owner and have several interviews every day, it is tough when someone chooses to not pick up their phone for a 30 minute interview--especially when I know it could be well worth their while. Be considerate, do the right thing, call them and let them know whats up.
Also, if you are seeking an at home business opportunity, I have just the position for you...wouldn't you love to be your own boss? Work whatever hours suit you? Set your own goals? If so, click my avatar image, this will take you directly to my YA profile, in my profile you should see a link that I have provided for the YA community, click this link, and browse the company's website. If you find yourself pleased, request an interview...the interview can be done via phone or internet..whatever is comfortable and convenient for you! No worries, this isn't one of those nasty scams! This company is in great standing with the Better Business Bureau out of Dallas, Texas and has been featured on the show 60 Minutes...can't go wrong there! Best of luck to you friend!

Well it would be courteous to call and tell them that you're no longer interested in the position. Maybe that you've been offered another job somewhere else and that you wanted to let them know, rather than schedule an interview or just not show. They will appreciate that and maybe even consider you again some other time, if you wanted them to.

Why don't you go to this interview just for the what-will-happen factor? You have nothing to loose (besides the time to go there)You are relaxed and confident. Tell them that you have reconsidered and tell them what you want and ask them for advice on how they can help you to get what you want - maybe an advice or contacts. Just like here in yahoo!answers. Sometimes good things just happen.

Be professional, call and let then know the truth as far in advance as possible. You never want to burn a bridge because you never know who will will come across in the future. But don't just not show because they will be waiting on you and wasting their time.

yes but out of courtesy you should call them and tell them that you wouldn't be attending the interview.

don't want the job don't go, you won't need to worry about being hired, even if you would change your mind later.
