It's VERY possible that you can have your period and be pregnant. Some people have their period through their entire pregnancy, some just a few months, and some just have implantation bleeding.
However, if you think you are pregnant, and you start stressing about it, it can throw your period off. I thought I was pregnant for 3 months, and sure enough I didn't have my period for 3 months. I had my period the first 2, took a couple home test all came back neg. Then I didn't get it at all the third month and freaked. Got a blood test done and that was neg. I just stressed out and stop my period from coming. If only it was always that easy huh? lol.
I suggest you get to the doctor as soon as possible. There is no point in researching, just go find out! Good luck!

Definitely check with your doctor. If you want to check again with a home kit, get a digital one like Clear Blue Easy---it spells it out for you in words instead of interpreting faint lines. It says either PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. Can't get any simpler than that.
