Yes, it's totally normal. And that's exactly what it is, too. As you get closer to delivery, your pelvis actually starts to open up to make room for the baby to come out. Hurts like heck. Be careful when you first stand up after sitting for a while. That's when it will be the worst. I almost fell flat on my face more than once. That's also why you see pregnant women waddle the way they do. It has nothing to do with being BIG, it's just that their pelvis is killing them.

It is totally normal. Your pelvic bone is divided into two halves and they are starting to separate to make room for the baby. I will say that the discomfort and pain doesn't go away until after. I remember the first time it hit me I was in the library and I thought something was wrong. If it causes too much pain while walking, try and limit it.
I talked to a doctor about it and asked if there was anything to relieve it and they said intercourse might help. I can't really say that it did

My cousin felt it in her 36th week of pregnancy. Her pelvic bone was preparing for the baby, it's a possibility that the baby's head has dropped into place. He/She might be making his/her way down. Maybe you'll be a little early! As long as you don't have any bleeding, or serious pain to the point of 100% discomfort I wouldn't worry about it. My cousin had it for 3 weeks, and she was a week late!
Congrats!

I've been through that. Had it in my last pregnancy and doing it again with this one. Sounds like your pubic bones are sliding around too much. If it gets really bad you'll actually be able to hear them moving against each other. Tons of fun. If it's what it sounds like to me its called symphisis pubis diastasis. Talk to your doc, but mine told me the best thing to do is to try to keep my knees together as much as possible, especially when getting in and out of car, bed etc. It really does help. Don't cross your legs either. Hope this helps.

interesting and werid pains is always normal in a pregnancy..but you need to determine if they are the growing outward and getting uncomfortable pains or something serious. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. Something simple can turn out to be something very very serious. I would suggest just asking your doctor. He or She will know best.

I'm 33 weeks and am feeling similar pains. I'm not quite sure what they are, but I've been told that it is normal.

Call your doctors office or go to the ER if you think it's necessary. The vagina doesn't have bones, only muscles.
