I think some people of a certain generation will prefer movies online, but there are those of us who want a larger screen. We seem to be going in two opposite directions simultaneusly--we love our tiny handheld screens but also our hundred-inch plasma screens, to watch the same films. For me, I can't get comfortable watching a movie on a laptop, and anything smaller is too tiny for me. And viewing also depends on the film itself--watching EPIC MOVIE on a small screen shouldn't matter, but you'll lose something by trying to play LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, BEN-HUR, or GONE WITH THE WIND on anything but a big screen tv or movie screen.

We may get all of our home stuff online, but i dont think the theaters will ever suffer. I wouldnt stop going to the theater. Some people just like watching the movies in that setting.
