Shave it all off with the Seiko Cleancut Shaver, and you won't have any problems at all. You will be as smooth as a baby's bottom. What is awkward about that? It will be almost like shaving your legs. It takes some getting used to, but most women never stop shaving after they shave it. Women have been shaving for thousands of years. It hasn't been that popular in the West until recently. It's popular in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Most Jewish women in Israel either shave or wax. It's very popular in Australia too. Maybe it has something to do with warm weather and bikinis, but many women have started shaving all of the time. It's popular in Brazil because that's where the idea of the Brazilian wax came from.

I shave it. There is no need to wax it, a razor does just fine. I go with the hair and then against it to get a really smooth touch, and then I put a moisturizing lotion and powder on afterwards and I don't get any bumps or irritation. If you get it waxed they do have to look at it, obviously, but you wear this weird thong diaper thingy haha.

if you shave it you stand the risk of nicks and cuts that can lead to infections however if you must remove it go the waxing route, of course you can't wax it yourself that why they have professional that are use to seeing the pubic area if not just make sure you are always fresh becuase hair sweats and causes odor

I personally feel that keeping it trimmed and tidy is just more clean (esp at that time of the month) and visually appealing to me. I hate having a forest down there. Waxing is out my league... tried once by myself at home and it left bruises. I walked like a cowboy for 3 days.

For ladies, remove it after your menses is finished. For males, shave it within 40 days.
