I've thought about that before. If a woman can change her last name, why can't a man? Surely there is no law against it.

Not usually, but there's no reason he can't. My boyfriend seems agreeable to taking my name if we get married - which is good, 'cos I changed my name 10 years ago, and it'd be a shame to lose something I paid a hundred bucks for!
