Sin2x = 2sinxcosx
cos3x = 4(cosx)^3-3cosx

so sin2x+cos3x = 2sinxcosx+4(cosx)^3-3cosx

Here cosx is common to all terms.

So this can be re written as

sin2x+cos3x = cosx{2sinx+4(cosx)^2-3}
