Old Trafford is still larger than the 60000 capacity stadium they are trying to build it is by far the largest ground in England even though Manunited have debt the board never seems to lack money for transfer and can always buy who they want.Malcolm Glazer is richer than both owners as for Chelsea they have Abramovich the11th richest man in the world. So ManUnited and Chelsea are still the only two moneybags in England who thinks so and with reason.

maybe Man.Utd n Chelsea were more more more rich than Liverpool...
but money can't guarantee everything...
Yes, you could buy best players in the world, but do they will play with all heart and soul for Reds?
Yes, you could build a giant & modern stadium in the world, but does it will filled with true Liverpudlians who will sing and support the team no matter what?

You can't buy the loyalty and support to our beloved Liverpool, We may 'poor' but it doesn't decrease our support or made us jealous to other club money...

YNWA!

it is true that Liverpool cannot compete with Man u and Chelsea financially but that is not the major factor to decide the success of a club. if a club relies on money too much, the players that the club buy will care very much about their wages only. Many players come to Chelsea because they can get higher pay here. and i have never felt their passion and loyalty to the club. if Chelsea undergoes a crisis, not many players will stay together to overcome it becoz they only care about their money. a club that robs players with money from other clubs will also have more enemies.
Liverpool is the club that I respect the most. the moral and the spirit that the club shows have always been admirable. the Players are often impressed by the fans. They gradually take proud in playing in the red shirts. Thus, creating a feeling of a family between the club, players and fans
Besides, i don't think Liverpool is so far behind man u and chelsea. Liverpool always seems to have a problem in the beginning of the season every year. if they can solve it, the difference between their points and man u's should not be 13 points.

You may be right but I guarantee that if Liverpool win the league next season it will be because of your "great history", "massive club", etc, and not the fact that you will have "bought" it. Of course, when "little" clubs like Chelsea, Blackburn Rovers and, dare I say it, Everton (in the 1980s) break up the Arsenal/Manchester United duopoly, it's bad for the game and clubs like that shouldn't be allowed to win the title.
The point is, if you don't challenge for the league next season, then no more of the above excuses, please.
You read it here first.

I agree with you even though I am a Man U fan. Unfortunately in football at the moment you need alot of money to compete and even though Liverpool has new ownership they still cannot match Man U and Chelsea

Money can't buy everything. Look at baseball for example. The Yankees, with the largest payroll can't win, but smaller clubs such as St. Louis and Detroit reach the World Series.

well arsenal is also in the big three as far as money goes. they will get about as much money per game from their suites in emirates stadium as they got from all the seats in highbury. man u makes far more money than any club other than real madrid, so they can afford to spend a lot, and even with the debt that glazer's takeover added. and abramovich can afford to spend as much money as he wants, especially given the oil situation. arsenal doesn't have quite as much money, but they get so much revenue that they can try to compete in terms of money more than anyone else. liverpool simply doesn't have the way to create that kind of cash flow, even with their new stadium. certainly money can't buy success, you need intelligent people running your club and players who are invested in the team, but having lots of money means you can get more talent, and that means you're more likely to win

Many teams don't have to. By getting the right players, they can put up the competition.
