I think it's far more accurate to say SOME and SOME, rather than MOST and MOST.

Since the Democratic Party is the largest and oldest political party in the world and it is assumed that Democrats are liberal that would mean that a majority of the population of the US is not Christian. Do you really believe that. By the way John Kerry and Ted Kennedy both of a very conservative religion are Liberals. Nancy Pelosi too. Actually it appears one's religion doesn't necessarily have anything to do with their politics. Unless they believe in combining church and state.

Parties don't represent your faith or your value system. There are gay Christians, as the Evangelist who got caught not that long ago hiring a hustler/gay prostitute proves. Furthermore, religion varies on what you believe. One of the ironies in republicans is that they are anti abortion but pro capital punishment, and liberals are pro choice anti capital punishment. Although there are varying degrees of which you believe on or the other, there is not one party that truly conforms to the 'perfect' ideology of christianity.

I doubt that that's true. most people in the US are Christain, it's not a Dem Rep thing. A LOT of liberals are Christain, in fact, that's where many get their inspiration. After all, Jesus mentioned helping the poor upwards of 2,000 times, and never mentioned Gays or guns.
