I was wondering if a busa 1300 is too much bike for me? I have been riding for a little over 10 years. I'm female...5'9...170lbs. I normally ride a 600 or 750.

It all depends on what you ride for!! You may aquire a taste for the 1300cc power and speed but you will have to give up that 600cc handling. Personally i perfer the 1000cc and under! I Ride a 05 ZX6r which is pleanty for me! You can do little modifications to make you 600cc just as fast as the 1300cc 0-100 mph what you are looking for! Rember after a 150 mph time does not exist, its the time it takes to get there!

the busa is one of the 2 fastest bikes, but it's also a heavy bike comparatively. DO you want all that? What's wrong with a 900 or 1000 cc bike?

It is probably not too much with your experience. The thing to remember is not to start riding it like you would ride your current bike. It has it's own caracteristics and handling that you need to get used to first before really pushing it. Just remember not to go faster than your guardian angel can fly, and then have fun.

With 10 years experience you shouldn't have a problem riding any bike out there.

It wouldn't be to much. Just respect the bike and the extra power. You have enough experience to know what to do and not to do. Hopefully your showoff days are over.

a literbike will be essentially just as fast, but handle much better than the busa.

10 years is pretty good. Try a 1000 cc before you jump in, but I think you can handle it if I can with only 1 yr of experience :)
