With respect to N2 O3
It asks what the mass of 1 mol, 5 mol, and 0.5 mol is.
How would you find the mass though...I don't get it

Also, it asks to calculate the % composition of nitrogen in the compound...I'm not sure of how to find that either

Any sort of help would be great. Thanks =)

Got problems, honey. Need to know the definitions. A mole is the mass of a compound in grams that would corresponds to Avagardro's number of molecures. The mole is determined, in this case, by adding the atomic weights corresponding to 2N and 3O, or 2x14+3x16= 76 grams. For 5 moles, multiply answer by 5. For 0.5 moles, you can divide original answer by 2.

Composition of N: From the discussion above, each mole has 76 grams of which 28 are nitrogen. Then the nitrogen content is 28/76 = 0.37. In percents, thats 37%
