this is gonna be long... the is no next MJ... MJ is the g.o.a.t... not only did he dominate on offense... like LeBron or Kobe or D Wade or T-Mac can do at any time... but he was one of the greatest defenders and was a very underrated defender being on the All-NBA 1st Defense I think 9 years and Defensive Player of the Year once... something LeBron is proving he will never do and something I believe only Kobe or D Wade have a chance to do... so the closest thing to MJ in the league right now I think is D Wade... Kobe is a close 2nd but relies too much on 3's Wade shoots probably the 2nd best mid-range jumper (to Dirk) in the league which is what MJ was the best at... the 16-22 feet range
goes to the rack so strong thats how he can make all those circus shots... He also can play D... he might not average the same steals as LBJ or Kobe but he has way more blocks than them and they are both taller (Kobe by 2'' and LBJ by 4'') so he is the closest thing to Jordan now but he wont get the numbers because he is the #2 option in the offense and most of you dont realize that... when Shaq is in there... the ball WILL go to Shaq and if its not available thats when Wade attacks... so he wont get the NBA MVP's or All-NBA 1st team all the time because of the offense they run... if you read this you understand how much I love basketball LOL

There will be another Michael Jordan, but his influence on the game can be seen through the likes of Kobe Bryant and others, who modeled their game after his. And I think it's ironic for a Wade fan to say LeBron James is overrated and relies too much on lay ups.

no. but if you ask me who then is the next MJ, I would probably have to say Kobe.

Offense: Kobe's got one of the best perimeter game in the NBA (with DIrk right up there). fadeaways, one dribble pull ups, mid range J, 3's, hes got it all. he can shoot from anywhere on the floor at anytime. like MJ, Kobe has no problem attacking the basket one-on-one, he could finish with both hands, and has the ability to create in traffic.

Defense: Because of MJ's incredibly high level of play on the offensive end, his on-ball defensive pressure was often unnoticed. Now, i could not say the same thing with kobe. thats why i said "probably". If he plays with the same amount of intensity on the defensive and offensive end, then he might just be the best MJ impersonation in recent years.

of course lets not forget the rings. Three's not gonna do it.

Wade? when his playing career is over, people are gonna look for his air apparent, or however they'll call him. he's that special.

Hell no! I think Dwayne Wade is way better than LBJ. I think he is overrated in some ways. He needs to get a better jump shot and he is not a good free throw shooter. Also I think he has actually taken a step back, he was better last season.

I think its to soon to tell...but right now, the closest is DWade. He got the championship last year and he makes everyone better. What MJ learned to do.
