I want song titles from opens of good animes or bad ones, but have a good opening song, such as the full metal panic opening, or the fruits basket opening, jap or eng, i dont care. true light from DN Angel, or open your mind from Ah my goddess. i like lots of anime, so chances are that i will like any opening song anyone puts down.

My favorite version is the extended edit version of the theme that actually has the actresses for Rei, Asuka and Misato singing the song.
"I'm a Pioneer"- Tenchi Muyo
"My Omelette"- Dragon Half (hilarious theme)
"The Hush of 200 Million Years"- Macross 2
From Macross 2, "Banana Moon Love" and "Riding in my Valkyrie" are also cool songs.

The opening and closing to Paradise Kiss are great, one is actually by Franz Ferdinand.
Anything done by Yoko Kanno is good...Cowboy Bebop, Macross Plus, Wolf's Rain, etc.
The Slayers series and Bakuretsu Hunters had awesome opeings and closings too.
Please Save My Earth and Record of Lodoss War TV had great music all around if you are into slower music.

I'd reccomend Ranma 1/2. Any season. I have a HUGE collection of nearly all of the music cds' including the bonus cds that came with boxed sets. Ranma 1/2 rocks!
