why doesnt my clampearl evovle in pkmn fr?

i got clampearl i traded to an emerald with it holding heart scale. when i traded it it didnt evolve. it waS SUPPosed to but i dont noe why i didnt.

you don't use the heart scale. you trade with a deepseascale to evolve it to a Gorebyss. and you trade with a deepseatooth to evolve it to a Huntail
