Being tired is COMPLETELY normal. I felt that way until I was about 3 1/2 - 4 months along...then again at the end around 8 months or so.
I had to buy maternity pants at 10 weeks...tops took a little longer...around 16 weeks or so for tops. MOST women don't start to show until 5-6 months but some of us show earlier than others.
If you're concerned that you're already showing and wondering how much weight gain to expect...I only gained 33 pounds (normal) and was in my pre-pregnancy clothes 9 days after having my son. And no I'm not a super skinny girl that you would expect to see that from. I was a size 10/12 before I had my son and was the same after.
Good luck and congratulations!!

I am about 5 weeks or so right now, and just found out last week that I was pregnant. Yeay!!:) Very first thing I noticed was that I was STARVING all the time. I could NOT get enough to eat and would eat 4-5 times a day! I could not stop thinking about my next meal!! LOL Lucky for me, I dont gain weight fast:) Another thing that happened to me before I found out I was pregnant was just out of nowhere, I would have these dreams that I was pregnant that were very vivid, so much that I could remmeber EVERY detail the next morning! I would also find myself daydreaming about babynames I would like, or how I would tell my husband that I was pregnant, if I was. :) AND my breast were terribly sore! There is a difference between the senstivity I get when I am PMSing and the tender, swollen, feeling I currently have, that my husband HATES because they are off limits. I almost did not test since I had cramping that felt like my period was going to happen any minute, but I just figured, why the hell not? Just for kicks. And of course.. low and behold there was a positive sign:) As for the discharge, it definately has increased, as it does with most pregnancies, which you can expect throughout and is normal. It is white or clear and doesnt smell any different then what it normally would on any other day. Of course, if you are having any, if it is an abnormal oder, color, or consistancy, its not a bad idea to get some tests done JUST to make sure. Anyways, I had my hunches over the past week, but I was not sure until I asked for the blood test that was positive. I found out VERY early actually (3-4 weeks). I give credit to the dreams and all the pregnant women I am around every day ( I am a nurse in labor and delivery) :) Good luck to you and I hope this helps you!

Yes it's perfectly normal especially if you work outside of the home. I know you may feel like you're lazy or like something is wrong because I felt the same way. Sometimes, I would just fall out (asleep) no matter where I was. Don't worry because you are carrying a life inside of you and even though the baby is very small, it's a huge job and it is very draining. Unfortunately there is really nothing that you can do about it. Normally around the second and third trimester you get more energy and strength so for now just enjoy being lazy and getting good sleep. I've read that early showing could be related to how slender you are, bowel extension or gaining too much weight. Every woman is different so don't worry about that either. If you're really concerned, you can always ask your doctor. Congratulations!

Completely normal to be extremely tired. I used to come home from work and get straight into bed. I'd eat a little bit and then go to sleep and would have anywhere between 10-12 hrs. The baby is completely draining you at the moment so it's crucial that you look after yourself as best you can. I understand it's hard, but keep up your water intake, fruit and vegies and also calcium. The baby will literally leach the calcium out of your bones if you don't have enough supply for it. You can begin to feel "thicker" around the middle but most people shouldn't notice yet. If you are showing, that's fine too, everyone's body is different and especially the size of your uterus. Congratulations!

Oh yes, being tired all the time was the way I found out I was pregnant. My entire first trimester was all about sleeping and being tired even when I woke up. I never had morning sickness but I was always tired. Totally and completely normal.
Showing at this point--it can happen. My sister in law popped out a bit early in her first trimester with her first child. Usually if this is a first pregnancy, most women don't show for awhile, but every woman is different.

The only showing your doing right now, is just fat that your body is building up. You prolly won't show untill about 25 weeks or so, since this is your first (or sooner if you are a little bigger than average)
As for bieng sleepy, YES, that is ALL you want to do during the first trimester. I slept nearly 16 hours a day for three weeks straight when I becamse preggers the first time. So don't worry. You'll perk up with your second trimester. And by the time you hit your third trimester, you'll be back to being sleepy and having to pee every hour on the hour...

You are ONLY sleeping 12 hours a day! I am 31 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and during each of my pregnancies i think i slept for the entire first trimester! I would wake up, bring the kids to school, come straight home, go straight back to bed until it was time to pick them up. I would stay awake until their bedtime, take a quick shower and go right back to bed! My husband was amazed that I could be so sleepy all the time but as soon as my 2nd trimester hit I went right back to normal, Thank goodness! Don't worry, the zzzz's will pass then you can start worrying about back pain!

its perfectly normal, and well that was my first sign i ws pregnant with all my kids. i got so tired and slept ALOT. your body is going through some pretty amazing and incredible changes right now, its taking alot from you. it shouldnt always be this way, you will probbaly start to feel more energy within a few weeks. i starting showing early to, also perfectly normal. it just depends on your body type and what not. i used to always feel my belly button lol week by week i could tell it was starting to fill out until one day it my innie turned into an outtie lol. just relax and enjoy the sleep now ! you will probably never get to sleep like this again once the baby comes lol. you could try to eat frequent healthy light meals for energy, but still may not help right now. stay hydrated and just do what you can do right now. its not hurting anything. good luck!

I remember being tired but i think if you let yourself succumb to it it is worse. Even now at 37 weeks after being up all night uncomfortable and peeing the tiredness only sets in when i sit down - i am better off keeping busy.
As for showing - i recall a rounding of the belly at 12 weeks - not much though. I look like i swallowed a basketball right now though ..lol
Good luck - have a great pregnancy. Mine is nearly over.

I was exhausted during my 1st pregnancy, especially in the afternoon. Most women feel much better during the 2nd trimester - you are almost there!
I looked 6 months pregnant when I was like 4 months pregnant (I had a really big baby). Everyone is different. Bloating could also add to the pregnant look.
Good luck!
