kinda stupid but i have a new pda and it show 2% of 4000 as 6

On my calculator, 2% of 4000 = .02 x 4000 = 80.

Convert the percent to a decimal, .02, and multiply it by the original number. .02 x 4000 = 80

2% is .02 when you convert it to decimal. percentage is /100.
divide 2 by 100 and multiply by 4000
