I have been dating someone since Thanksgiving. We are not bf/gf just dating and getting to know one another. I want to get him something nice for v-day, but I am not sure what. Any suggestions?

You can't go wrong with baking!
Cookies are always a nice touch. If you are ambitious you could try to recreate something like this:
24 stem cookie bouquet. Basically, get silk floral stems and stick them into the bottom of the cookie. Such a sweet and thoughtful gift

As a guy, I would say to pick one or combo of these:
1. Cook a nice tasty filling dinner, c chip cookies desert
2. Bring him some ice cold beer.
3. Clean up his apt/house.
4. Take him to a sporting or other event he likes.
5. Give him a roll in the bed.
6. Be nice to him.

I usually prefer something that lasts, like a clothing accessory (other than a tie). Maybe some smart cufflinks if he wears them, or a smart tie pin.
Another possibility is something for his desk - mobile phone holder, pen set, paper weight.
Perhaps a good book; something romantic like love poetry (which he can read to you - added bonus), or otherwise the type of novel he enjoys.
My wife once got me a leather wallet (we were dating then).

Important that you don't get anything too extravagant- that may send signals he's not ready for yet. If you know his favorite store, restaurant, shop or hobby stop by and pick up something small and thoughtful. If it's a restaurant get a gift card, if it's a hobby get something applicable. You can always get a gift card to a store/shop you know he's fond of. Good luck

You can go to a spa and get a massage, thats always nice, or a watch fossil not too cheap and not too expensive, or cologne, armani mania's hot cant go wrong! even chrome or curves.

a watch. not too expensive but not cheap. Maybe something for his office or something that he doesn't have of his favorite sports team or alma mater.
