As long as he didn't have sex with a girl when you were partnered, it doesn't matter.
I am gay, and after being with a girl once all it did was confirm what I already knew; that I was gay.
As long as your partner's one time thing with a girl didn't result in a child, it's water under the bridge. Your partner is being honest with you, be thankful that he is honest. Let it go.

Many gay men have had sex with women before deciding that they were gay. Did he do this during your relationship? Does he consider himself bisexual and wants to see women on the side? If not it's a mute point. You should be happy he's sharing with you and letting you get to know him at even deeper levels. I've been with the same guy for 5+ years and in our conversations we're still finding things out about eachother.

Did he have sex with this chick while you two were together? If not, then big deal. Alot of gay guys have tried having sex with a woman. Usually when they're younger and are trying to figure out if they're really gay. If it's in the past then leave it there. If he's stayed with you for a year then it obvious that he's interested in you.

Its not unusual for men to have sex with women even if they are gay. It could have been sexual experimentation, or just a spur of the moment thing. Or perhaps he was making sure that he wasn't attracted to women. What ever the reason, if this is the only thing bothering you, its alittle extreme to end the relationship. Really, why would it matter to you? He's with you, not with her.

I would let it go. the past is the past, ya know? If you want to bring it up, just for curiosity, go for it. But don't get mad at him for something that happened so long ago. He's with YOU know, and that's all that matters. Be careful not to give him the 3rd degree, for you could end up single because of it.

Maybe he feels very openly ready for telling you things that he wouldn't tell other people. Its another level in your relationship. Be happy. Move on.

There is alot of other things you don't know either! Get over it! Just enjoy each new surprise as they come! That's how you get to know someone... over time!!

Why should it matter? He told you didn't he? Then he obviously trusts you to know that, I don't blame him for being hesitant and waiting that long. Pretty sucky to penalize him for being honest.

there is nothing to do, it happened ,it is over, no need to make a big deal out of it cause whatever you do is not going to change what has happened.
