All my television set has is an output for video and an output for audio. Are any others needed, or will this TV suffice?

Your TV will work just fine. In fact, just about any TV will, if you have the right cables. If your TV has a yellow jack and one or two audio jacks (two are red and white), then you can use "composite" cables. Any older TV will work - even ancient black and white sets - with an RF adapter - that's a device that sends the XBox signal through the TV's tuner, usually channel 3 or 4.

Of course, to get the full effect of the XBox 360's graphics, you would need an HD TV, and component or HDMI cables. Alas, that costs thousands of dollars.

Your TV will work just fine.

I assume you really mean an input for video and audio? If so, then this will work. It is not optimal as the 360 support HD output but it will work.
