Hi,
You have to play 20 RATED games to advance to show a rating. So don't play in the social lounges unless you are sure they are rated before you sit and start a game. After that you will fall into higher ranks (colors) at 50 point breaks. So, play well so you will start out at a pretty good rating. I really think it is so you have it down pat to start playing with higher rated players? This link has all the rating Spades Yahoo! Game.

Have fun playing!

Firstly the points are automatically calculated according to the differences in overall ratings i.e.

if everyones rating was 2500

then you win OR lose 15 points each, even if the game is finished by a bot or if someone from the opposition is ff'd.
However, if ff'd. for the opposition, the person who still remains loses NO points and that game shows as a win on their profile, and the person who was ff'd loses 30 points (double the amount).

If yours and your partners rating is 2500 and your oppositions ratings are 1500

If you win you get 5 points
If you lose you lose 30 points

This is why you get booted or should boot players who have a lower rating - its not really worth it...even if you win i.e. you can win 5 games and win 25 points and lose 1 game and lose 30 points

If you have a 2500 rating and your partner has 1500 and your opposition has the same then your table is "even" and points won or lost will be 15

Yes, if you are sitting at a FF,RATED table, and an opp leaves, you get WAY more than if you just win straight out. All the bot is doing is taking the place of the opp that jumped ship for whatever reason, you still get the points from that opp. and they are less like I said.
I have been playing Yahoo spades for 10 yrs, and BEEN THERE DONE THAT, BEEN THERE HAD THAT DONE TO ME.

HAPPY SPADIN

in short
Max points you can win =32
Max points you can lose =64

The amout of points won or lost depends on many things...
How many games someone has played. ( the yahoo deals are not kind to someone who plays alot and has a good wins loss ratio)
How high their rate is. ( the yahoo deals are kind to the lesser rated player)
Do they have more loses then wins.( Yahoo cards fall well for these people, they usually just dont know how to play)
Do they have over a 70% wins loss ratio. (prepare for a yahoo card scew most of the time)
All these factors and others come into deciding how many points are won or lost at the tables,
It is best to sit even or close tables........add you Ps rate with yours ... and the OPS rate together ... and find the difference .... if the difference is greater then 200 in your favour prepare to lose max points if you lose ..... and win none if you win.

This is why you will see the advanced players sitting even tables ... if they lose they do not lose much.
