just tell her the truth....coz no matter what..she has to come to know the truth some day.She may feel worse if she comes to know this from someone else...she may even get angry with u for not tellin her when u very well knew whats goin on.....tell her what he has been doing behind her back.

Find out the reason why he is behaving like this and come to a point. May be he doesn't want to continue this relations. Get what is going on in his mind and then take a good decesion which will be good to both of them
