it could be something called gynecomastia. It's common in young men going through puberty and has to do with hormones. It might even be tender when it's bumped, touched or injured. Normally it goes away, sometimes after a couple of months, sometimes in young adulthood. If it keeps getting bigger, get it checked, if it drains or you can express fluid, go to the doctor soon. Don't worry that your weird or anything like that. It's a normal thing. Check out GYNECOMASTIA at WebMD.

You should tell your parents or your doctor. It may be nothing, but a male can also get cancer of the breast and it should be checked. It could also be due to hormones so don't get overly upset until you talk to your parents and / or doctor. Your doctor will also usually answer questions by telephone, so if you call him or her you can ask to speak with them directly and tell the receptionist it is a personal problem, but you really should ask your parents.

See your doctor.

Males have breasts just like females -- only they're usually much smaller than female breasts.

Many boys at your age start developing significant breast growth which may later disappear. It's comparable to what you'll notice happening to girls your age -- if you look, you'll see that many of them are developing significant moustaches -- some of them will have to shave them all their lives, with others they'll disappear as their hormones stabilize.
