Hi,
My son must have had a red crayon in his pocket when I did the laundry. I washed with warm/cold water with Tide and Downy fabric softner. Then I dryed them in the dryer. Most of the clothes came out with red colored spots! Is there something I can do to remove that?

I have had the best luck by using dish soap. you will have to spot clean everything. no guarantee though. i still have some on my clothes, but a lot has come out. good luck.

I have done the exact same thing, with my entire load of scrubs and my daughter's favorite pants. She had a red crayon in her pocket. My mother, the genius, tried everything. My grandma used to work for a dry cleaner, and she couldn't do anything, either. Most you can do is fade a little bit, but that's it. I had to buy all new clothes.

i have never personally tried it but i have heard that if you lay the clothing down with an old rag on top of it and iron over them both that the crayon comes out of the bottom one and will go into the top one. It is worth a try!!!!
