The Cubbies will ALWAYS BE #1 in Chicago, even if they lose 100 games (which wont happen this year).
Fans of the whinny sux simply dont deal well with reality. The Reality is that Cubbie fans are more loyal and more dedicated to thier team. They dont fall off the bandwagon.
The whinny sux are just that...whinny little crybabies.
There is no crying baseball, and someone forgot to tell them that.

1) The Sox got rid of ONE starting pitcher. Not the whole rotation.
2) The Sox traded a pitcher who last year proved he is not that great (look at McCartheys stats - not impressive at all) for a TOP 5 prospect in ALL of baseball. That is a great trade.
3) When was the last time the Cubs won the world series??? What could the Cubs possibly brag about??
Who needs to be the "most popular". The Sox just win instead.

Ok. I am a die hard sox fan. I watch baseball and I see all the signings the cubs did and I say wow!!! Barring a explosion at training camp or a couple hit by pitches, They should be great. Break spring training and then compare your team bec rebember cub teams don't make it thru spring training!!!!

dumb question!!! Hey little mac "the sox could never pull it off", what the hell do you mean? The Sox lead the all time series against the scrubs and just won the series in 05', and will do it again this year. Someone please try and explain what the scrubs have to brag about? Hmm, the lack of real and knowledgeable fans, a ballpark that smells like ****, oh yeah it must be that they finished in last place a year ago behind the pirates, Fools!

no one in chicago, actually, id say a majority of baseball fans dislike the sox. first off, your named after socks..id take cubs over a sock. no one liked the world series...the sox played the astros, a crappy nl wild card team. no one likes ozzie gullien. not to be racist or prejudice, but this is american prosport...i cant understand one word when he talks. no one likes us cellular field-its a horrible environment and they have the music so loud in there. i went there once...heres how pathetic it is, they have artificial clapping. hahahahahahaha. pathetic.
