I've never played this game before, the rouge looks very specialized and fun to play in that he has powerful attacks and his lockpicking abilities could be a great asset to a party. The druid just looks all around versatile, being able to shapshift and have attributes of many classes.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom about these classes.. are they fun to play? useful in a five person part where no one else is playing these classes?

Thanks for your input!

i have a lvl 26 rogue and i use him just for fun i like the druid more since he has gift of the wild buff thorns bear form see lion form (shoulda made it serpent form instead of sea lion) cat form cheetah form dire bear form ( 1500 bonus life while in this form) storm crow form etc.... i like it just because cheetah and cat form are like lvl 40 mounts just 20% slower (cat form is only faster if you put 2 points into cat agilty or whatever it's called that makes you move faster when outside

Lockpicking gets rarely used - the most common is if you get a lockbox as loot, and, frankly, that can be unlocked at any point. There's a few places where the trap removal skills come in handy, but they're again, pretty rare. Rogues are best used for straight DPS, as well as stun-locking monsters (in other words, keep them stunned so they can't attack.) If you've got improved sap, that's got plenty of uses too. That said, rogues are a blast to play, and not terribly difficult.

Druids are a lot harder to play, because you need to master so many different roles - and you need to tote around extra gear, because what's good for one role isn't the best for other roles. By end-game, you'll probably have an entire bag dedicated to gear-swapping. That said, they've gotten a *lot* better at sending out hybrid gear, and if you're a *good* druid, you can find a spot in a lot of groups, no matter what your specialization.

In the end, both are fun, and both are useful.

I quit the game a while ago, I had a 60 priest and hunter. I can safely say if you want to do high amounts of damage, fairly quickily, go with rogue. If you want the added abilities of a shapeshifting druid, healing, buffing, etc. Then do just that, roll a druid.

YOU are the only one who can decide what class is right for you.
