how much does it cost a laptop energy adapter?

thats totally amazin, i have to finish 3 crossword, a formal letter, and a brochure for nex thusday for the computer class, and each of the is one note, and now it comes that the adapter dosnt work and i cant use the comp. with no energy because its a laptop, so, do you have any idea of how much does it cost to buy a new one?

if you have a mac, addapters are usuialy about $40. I used to have a dell and an addapter for that cost about $50
