I wish to inform you that you have upgraded to Internet Explorer 7.0 which cause some system file conflict with your Quicktime :
Uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
1. Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
2. Click "Add or Remove Programs."
3. Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
4. Scroll down the list to "Windows XP - Software Updates," select "Internet Explorer 7" and then click "Change/Remove."

After I installed internet exp 7, I couldn't get a single page to open! I deleted IE7, the computer reverted back to using IE6, & it's been fine.

Try going back to internet explorer 6 by clicking start, clicking control panel, then clicking Add / Remove Programs. Go to the bottom and click Windows Internet Explorer. then click remove.

I've been getting errors from Windows media player ever since installing IE7. Don't know if its related but now I think so.

first of all internet explorer 7 has ALOT of bugs.
My suggestion is to go back to the old internet explorer, with yahoo toolbar. or firefox, but you have to DL alot of plug-ins to make it work on most sites.
