You can take either the #126 Jackson, east to State Street where you will see the entrance to the Red Line Subway. To be sure, you can go to the website below and consult the RTA trip planner, call RTA @ 836-7000 from a local phone, or ask at Union Station.

CTA trip planner (mentioned above) is a good answer, but you can also just walk it.
It's about 8 blocks over to State Street. It does not matter what street you take to get over to State. Just make sure that you cross the river so you know you are headed the right direction.
When you get to State, there will be a stairway within a block of where ever you are to take you down to the Red Line.
Take the Red Line north (toward Howard).
You will get off at North/Clybourn and head east on North Avenue (you will cross over Halsted Street). It will be just a few blocks to 627.
You could also hop a cab from Union Station to State Street - about $5

If it's still very cold when you get to Chicago, you'll find it most pleasant to exit to the west of the station (by the Great Hall) onto Clinton Street. Turn left and walk south two blocks to the blue line subway, which is right underneath the freeway overpass. Take the blue line in the direction of O'Hare for just two stops to Jackson. At Jackson there's a pedestrian tunnel that connects directly to the red line. You'll take the red line in the direction of Howard to the North/Clybourn subway station.
If the weather is better, it may be quicker to just walk east (toward the Chicago River) on either Jackson or Monroe for about 2/3 of a mile. (Pass under the 'L' tracks, and continue about three blocks further.) The red line is in the subway beneath State Street at either Jackson or Monroe.

DON'T take the Red Line. Walk out of the station and go west to Halsted St.. It's about three blocks away. You can either walk if the weather isn't too bad or take the Jackson bus. It'll cost $2, so that's why I suggested walking; save yourself a couple of bucks. Then take the Halsted bus traveling north (ask someone or ask the bus driver). It will cost another $2. The Halsted bus will take you right to North Ave and pretty close to the address you listed. Taking the Red Line is the LOOOONG way to get to that address.
Bottom line: Walk to Halsted, take ONE bus and you're there.

You could go to the Depaul website and look for info on "How to Get Here", probably in the prospective students section. Or you could go to the CTA website and look at their map of the red line. They may even have a "trip planner" feature that would tell you exactly how to get there.
