I think the movie was first daughter. there was a part when the main character girl and her boyfriend-guy were eating pizza and they started rambling off lots of facts, and she asked him how he knew all that stuff. and he said it was his job, what exactly did he say his job was?

Yes he turns out to be a secret service agent sent to protect her but was pretending to be a normal college student. I'm sorry but this movie was pretty bad. Some of the things the other college kids did to her is so unrealistic and that whole ceremonial bit at that party singing the "presidential theme" song is so corny, I literally almost threw up. I never want to set eyes on this movie ever again. Sorry didn't mean to offend anyone..

If I remember correctly, he was posing as a student counselor, so he passed that off as the job. We learned at the end though he was in the secret service protecting her.

you got the answer and i want some points, so i'll say it was an okay movie, starring katie holmes and the guy who was one of "buffy, the vampire slayer" boyfriends. r&b singer amerie was her roommate.
