Goal 1: Learn how to write a five paragraph essay. It's essential to the writing process and something that will carry over through all your papers the rest of your life.
Goal 2: Memorize new vocabulary words. This will not only help you with your everyday vocabulary, but will prove invaluable when it comes time to take the SATs.

Ok, well lets look at what kid of 9th grade english class your in.
Now, you want to excell, right?
Don't think to far ahead, But plan.
Do little things,
Like write in a journal everyday and correct your sentences a week later.Deadicate a day to correcting your sentences. Whatever works for you, just think a lil everyday and you will become big!
Also take this to your english teacher, she will be able to help you understand more than what i can.

Since, Im a freshman, I think that 2 good goals are to stay open-minded on essays so you can always ready, to never procrastinate on things such as spelling/reading/short writing because they are the easiest and doing them could get you an A.

1. Pass your 9th grade English class
2. Graduate from High School.
3. Unlike TD, be able to distinguish the difference between to and two.

One should definitely be to read a given text and be able to come up with a viable thesis statement about said text.
This kind of goes along w/the first,but being able to read analytically is a good goal for all of high school...ie, not simply reading for plot.

1. Understand that writing is indeed a process: Outline, draft, conference, rewrite.
2. Read as much as you can outside of class.
Remember: Education isn't something that happens to you; it's something YOU make happen!

1) dont fall in sleep durnin class..
2) dont daydream in the class...
***Trust me these are THE most important goal for Freshman durin english class.... the teachers are sooo borin...
