i already have 2 boys who will be 3 and 2 when baby comes along.
i have no preference of sex just a healthy baby.
i am worried down the track about the finances and the quality time i can spend with all of them.

pros: more to love, just having another baby, many people want 3 children, kids have more to play with, you may get to have the opposite sex if you have two of one sex

cons: you only have two hands!!, more expensive, more work, one child will be the "middle" child

We tried for number 3 in hopes of a boy after having 2 girls. That's when Rayna arrived. I don't think I could be as happy w/o having had Rayna.

The pro side is that you'll have another magnificent and individual personality to love and you'll never be able to look back and say you wish you hadn't.

The con side, if there was one, would be the increased amount of fighting amongst each other. But oh well, that is to be expected and normal. :)

This is through the eyes of a single father of 3, ages 9,8 and 6. Once they hit their teens, who knows how I'll feel! lol

The only things I can think of are...
1- how old are babies 1 & 2
2- can you afford to have another baby
3- can you emotionally handle a baby, if 1& 2 are younger?
In my opinion if babies 1 & 2 are younger then wait until they both are at least potty trained so you do not have three in diapers. I've just had a few friends who have had three in diapers and it's been tough on them.

Hi, I am baby number 13.
Having so many siblings was motivational and kept me at a higher grade level.
Hard for our parents having so much energy running around them however.

Now I have 1 8 yo and 4 steps 2 girls 19,21 2 boys 17,23
Keeps my 8 yo challenged.

Sometimes testing for my lack of patience.
Good skill to improve "patience".

P.S. we were dirt poor and still are.
But we feel rich.
We have an appreciation for all things big or small.
Just the food we have makes us happy.
Our sense of humor makes us happy.

And I am so happy to homeschool my 8 yo icd.

well i am in a family of 5. Dad, Mum, Elder sister (23), Me (21), Younger sister (16).
CONS

form a middle childs point of view we get forgotton
everyone lese gets spoilt
it is NOT a good idea having children 6 or 8 years apart (we do not get along).

it also depends on how far apart they are.

PROS

more love
a new member of the family
the joy of a new baby

its totaly up to you (me personally i am only having up to 2 children and no more)

good luck

Your other two children will have more than just one other person to play with when they get older. Your attention to the children will be stretched. More money on diapers, wipes, food, etc... One more bundle of JOY in your life. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!
