skip 6 time champion cousy who shot 37% for his career

the celtics and Russell won plenty without him

I'd go with Magic and Kareem who played at a time when there wasn't just 8 teams and dominated an Era

Magic is the best point guard of all time and Kareem is a top 3 center of all time and the all time scoring leader

Russell-Cousy, Kareem-Johnson. West-Chamberlain

Bob Cousy and Bill Russell easily the best, winning what 9 championships together.
It wasnt just russell, cousy was easily one of the best point guards of all time, hence why he is in he hall of fame.

Kareem/ Magic would be the obvious choice.

Some others:

Kareem/ Oscar Robertson.....Bucks

Wilt Chamberlain/ Jerry West...... Lakers

Willis Reed/ Walt Frazier......Knicks

Shaq/ Kobe Bryant......Lakers

For my money, it was Havlicek (or Cousy) and Russell. But there were several others that come to mind:

Frazier and Reed
West and Chamberlain
Johnson and Abdul-Jabbar
White and Cowens

It's hard to say, but I think they all belonged to the Lakers(not trying to be bias). They had West and Chamberlain, Kareem and Magic, and then Shaq and Kobe.

Shaq and Kobe were at their prime as a duo back when the Lakers three-peated.

Shaq and Wade are good together too, but I dunno if they can repeat

I didn't see them, but I'd say Magic & Abdul-Jabar.
