Still from storks, downsizing just mean fewer storks work harder, with longer hours and they now also use female storks to ease the load. Delivery routes from the cabbage patches are mapped out for maximum efficiency, and modern weather forecasting helps also. Stork breeding programs are underway, and soon the production of human beings will be able to continue exponentially.

well i hear pelicans are replacing storks, not cranes, for the job, I hear they carry them in their mouths instead of the blankets. if you kid arrives smelling like fish, dont freak out. I think the storks were more reliable, but hey, at least someones there doing the job. We don't want our brand spanking new babies just falling through the sky, do we?

Then in a few months, the Angel sends Mummy an email that she has to go to the hospital to pick up a baby.

I think you mean storks, which they used after the extinction of the DoDo bird, I hear they will soon be using Loons for the delivery process.
