i am guessing from the way you spell and write that you are pretty young....but it means to NOT have sex of any kind at all......it is a form of birth control because if you dont have sex you cant get pregnant......it is something you should do until you feel emotionally ready for sex and when you are old enough to make this very important decision.
to answer your other question you cant get pregnant while taking birth control pills unless you use them incorrectly. you have to take them at the same time everyday and not forget any of them...but even then they are not 100% they have an effective rate of 99.8% so there is a possibility of getting pregnant while on the pill but it is very very low.....but you should talk to your parents or other adult or see a doctor they can give you MUCH better advice then the people on here.

It means to refrain from having sex. It is the only kind of birth control that works 100%. Of course you can still get pregnant while taking birth control pills, they are not 100% effective.

Birth contol pills are good depending on your age, health in general, if you smoke, etc. If I were you, I would go to my healthcare provider and get these questions answered. Remember, if you decide to have sexual contact, birth control pills may help not to get pregnant. On the other hand, birth controll pills will not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. There are other ways of protection like condoms that will protect you from both pregnancy and STD's.
Abstinence means abstaining of sexual contact. In other words, no sexual contact. This (I would agree) is the best birth controll method. If you are not ready for this, then give yourself time to explore and understand before engaging in sexual activity. Go to your doctor. hope this helps

Definitly abstinence because if you are abstinent you don't have sex at all and therefore you have no chance of pregnancy. If you choose the pills, they are not 100% accurate and you can still get pregnant while using them. So, if you aren't ready to have kids, be abstinent.

It means to abstain from having sex - to NOT have sex. It's the only 100% guaranteed birth control aside from having your tubes tied or the man having a vasectomy.
