This is an easy answer. I was married for five years to a compulsive liar. He simply could not help himself. He lied about jobs he had in the past, education, ex girlfriends. Eventually it was so bad that he began to lie about bills that he said he paid and didn't..we would up being evicted after he didn't pay the rent for 6 months. Oh this sounds like my lying ex. He was an amzingly good liar..fooled me for four years. Then I started to catch on..and now I seriously cant believe a single word he says...its like I was with a stranger. Anyways hence the ex -boyfriend statement.
