One of my "friends" always insults me. To her, anything I do is wrong and anything someone else does is right! She always uses everything against me. I feel like she doesn't like me, but the next day she comes back and acts as nice as ever. I want to be friends with her but I want to know why she's insulting me...

Honey, she is not your friend. Friends do not insult and make you feel bad. You do not and should not be around someone that treats you this way. She has some real mental issues and taking them out on you. I bet she has no one else that calls her a friend because I'm sure she is a mean spirit that is mean to a lot of people. Don't hang around with people that try and bring you down.

She has low self-esteem. Find a better friend. It isn't worth the aggravation. Or keep her on the back burner and don't hang out with her too much.
Here's something to think about--people from "up North" like New Yorkers sometimes talk like that without knowing they are being insulting. If she is from somewhere like that, don't let it bother you. If that is not the case, go back to paragraph one.

People like this tends to enjoy seeing people getting upset. The more emotional you are, the happier they are. Try not to react when she insults you again, and see how she change from your reaction. If she is still keeps on insulting you, I advise you to really consider is it worth to maintain such a friendship? A true friend, to me, will always respect each other.

Um, because people need to be insulted and have their feelings hurt every once in a while.
You wouldn't let a total fat ass walk outside in a halter, would you? You tell her fat ass to put some clothes on, she may be insulted but you also helped.

Shes either jealous,or feels terrible about herself,so the only way to feel better is to insult you. She knows you are her friend and won,t abandon her.

it form of the old alpha dog technique. they feel lesser so they find or make stuff up in order to gain control. it usally to cover a flaw/ or weakness of the insulter. just show them it doesnt bother you and it should stop. if not try coming back of your own.

Unfortunately it seems she has picked you to use for attention. She likes the attention she gets when she puts you down. Get a few laughs. Shes obviously not very happy with herself so she takes it out on you. That's just my opinion.

People insult others to make themselves feel better, I try to treat my friends with respect and not do that to them, I think people are so down on themselves it makes them feel better to belittle their "friends". I am sorry that you have to go through that.

She does it because she thinks that it is fun. She could also be trying to make herself look better. People have to do that for themselves when they have major insecurities. Something has to make them feel better!!

Maybe she feels you scuh good friend that you don't mind, because she is only "teasing". But some people do it to boost their own self esteem. It is mean for them to do, how ever they mean it.
