I was told that I was pregnant on Jan 9. Since then, I've felt pregnant. Just recently, my body has been feeling really bad. I have these terrible headaches.. and stomach cramps.. However, I dont really feel pregnant, anymore. I keep reading about these "missed miscarriages," but no one ever describes the symptoms that your body experiences before the miscarriage is caught. PLEASE HELP!

This is a tough one because many of the symptoms taken alone can be perfectly normal signs of pregnancy.

If you have a loss of pregnancy symptoms, cramping especially in the lower back then there is the possibility but again this can happen in a normal pregnancy.

The problem with a missed miscarriage is that often there were no signs and a woman is surprised to learn of it during an ultrasound.

For your own peace of mind, schedule an appointment with your doctor. Also, as you go along, if you need reassurance, many doctors will allow you to come in between appointments just to listen to the heartbeat. I ended up renting a BabyBeat doppler and would listen to the heartbeat anytime I felt something might be amiss.

Best of luck to you with this pregnancy.

I had a missed miscarriage recently - the baby died at 7 weeks, but I didn't find out until my ultrasound at 8.5 weeks. My pregnancy symptoms weren't all that bad to begin with, but they did slowly fade, starting about a week after the fetus died I think. I never had any additional symptoms like you're having - I had no cramps at all, in fact. I had to have a D&C to get the dead fetus out, since my body showed no signs of getting rid of it on its own.

You should talk with your doctor if you're at all worried. She can do an ultrasound to see the baby's heartbeat and see how big the baby is.

I hope all is well for you! If it does turn out that you've had a missed miscarriage, just know that others (like me) have gone through the same thing. No one ever talks about miscarriages, but they are pretty common, especially in the first trimester.

You should make an appointment with your doctor. If you don't have a doctor, find a walk in clinic.

Loss of symptoms is common as you near the end of the first trimester, and some women never experience any symptoms until they feel the baby moving etc.

If you have lost the baby but your body is not miscarrying, you will likely need to have a D&C.

when I had a miscarriage I kinda knew because some of the pregnancy symptoms disappeared. I was also bleeding heavily. No pain though
but you never know so talk to your dr. Even if he says you are miscarrying it's always good to double check with an unltrasound..that's what I did.
i hope you are not miscarrying though. good luck

Surprisingly I learned in my human development course that women can have miscarriages and not even know it, because it can be like a period... but sometimes it can be really painful. I was miscarriaging and I had really heavy cramping, sharp pains, but there wasn't any bleeding yet.And I was sleep and the pain was so sharp it woke me out of my slumber! But I had to go to the hospital and I was diagnosed with that. It was no trip to Disneyland believe me. And I had to get a D&E or a D&C... uhhhhhhhh.

something similar happened to me at 13 weeks. I woke up one day and didnt feel pregnant anymore. I did not bleed or have cramps. When I went for ultrasound the baby did not have a heartbeat anymore. I have never heard of missed miscarriage. I had to have a D&C. Hopefully your baby is fine. Go to the dr. and get a ultrasound. Good luck.

When my mother underwent a misscarriage she had nose bleeds and then there was a time that her period came back. She knew that something was wrong with this pregnancy because she said she kept having dreams that someone was going to take the baby away from her.
