Ladonna and Jane are renting an apartmant. They pay the landlord the amount of the first month's rent, the same amount for the last month's rent, and half of a month's rent for a security deposit. The total is $1625. What is the monthly's rent?

2x + 1/2x = 1625

x = monthly rent
