We recently moved to studio city,ca and we haved our general check up with a local doc,he showed the cholesterol levels as 356 fr my husband,He had it checked 6 months ago & everyting was perfect,We doubt if these results are wrong,We dont like the doctor he was not so dedicated,and we dint like the environment there,How can we make sure that these results are correct.If we go to a different doc,Does our insurance cover for it,ours is PPO,

Your insurance should certainly cover the blood tests. These are crucial tests and need to be done routinely with the history. If there is a problem with the insurance, check with your County Health Department. I was in a similar situation and that is where I got mine tested for free. They are always a good source of information about the area in which you live.

When your health is at risk, dont take chances...go to a good doctor and have your health checked thoroughly. I dunno if your insurance covers it...you better read your contract benefits or contact your insurance agent. Take care...goodluck...and Godbless.
