Jameel is a word for beautiful. Jamal is beauty. Lateef or Hasan can also mean beauty. Sheeta is a word for winter. Zawda is a word for storm--so Zowda al-Sheeta could mean winter storm. I think Jameel sounds better to people who speak English. I only speak very basic Arabic; I already knew "Jameel" and "Jamal"; I got the rest out of an English-Arabic DIctionary.

Arabic is regional, and can vary. I have always known beautiful, as halwe or halween.
