I cand find out what country this coin is from! On the front there is a picture of a fish and below there are the words 10 P. On the other side there is a picture of a harp and the word "elRe". It was made in 1975. It is almost the size of a half dollar and is about as thick as two dimes and is silver colored. It has a diameter of 1 1/16 inches. I think it is from Italy. Help!

It's a 10 pence/pighne coin from the Republic of Ireland(Eire). Metal is an alloy of copper and nickel, and the reverse depicts a salmon fish. Your 10p is the older version, and the size larger than the current version in circulation(almost size of a quarter).
