where is the heater control vavle for a 1989 chevy c20 van?

im not get any heat in my van all i get is cold air

Well, IF it has one, it will be under the hood on the passenger side. There are 2 5/8" hoses and the valve will be inline in one of them. It will have a cable and a small arm attached to it. Otherwise a no heat prob could be a blend door, which is under the dash, inside the airbox, and also operated with a cable.
