Everybody I mostly know have cell phone. What can I do?

Question

Everybody I know have a cell phone but I don't have one. My mother, my father, and my little brother and all my classmates in my middle school and my whole family and cousins all have cell phones. I feel like an outsider. Everyone kepts on using thier phones and then my other cousins are getting new phones every every time. I won't get a cell phone until June, that's when my family plan in Cingular renews. And it's February, like 4 more months from now and I won't be able to wait that long for the cell phone. My question here is what can I do to keep my hopes up? Or is there any way I can renew faster in Cingular? I don't wanna hear "I don't care about cell phones." or "Don't mind about cell phones" or a simple answer.
I don't want to hear any bashing because I'm sad now.

ok...cell phones are not the most important thing in the world so dont fret.....just know that at least you WILL be getting one soon...there are people in this world that will never get the chance to have a cell phone so be grateful that you will get one....it may seem like an eternity but you will have it soon enough...you're just excited and anxious for it....june will be here before you know it so just be patient!

Well, I had a cell phone. I sold it for $50. Don't need it. Believe me, I'd have sold it to you if it was a Cingular and if I lived close enough to be able to sell it to you. Mine was an LG3200, a simple cell phone with everything minus the MP3 playback and camera. It was good enough for me, just that my family has a lower income than all the other "rich b*tches" around here, flipping out their Chocolates, KRZR's, and RAZR's. I don't like that, everybody has taken the functionality of the cell phone and ruined it. Everybody flips them out in class and in the hallways, phones beep and ring here and there. I don't need a camera phone or MP3 phone, I already have a camcorder, laptop, and PSP. Sorry to say this, but too damn bad. Wait until June, all a person would need a cell phone for would be for emergencies, and everybody around here makes cell phones luxuries, not necessities, where emergency calls would be made with them. Anyway, an LG3200 is worth around $50, but I think it's only for Telus, I don't know about Cingular. Don't sweat it, it's only 4 months! I waited 3 years for my laptop. Not that I'm comparing you to me, just hang in there, you can make it through. Although I think it's kind of dumb your little brother has one and you don't, just my opinion, no offense.

I was in the same situation that ur are in right now. I wanted a cell phone so bad in August last year and my parents plan didnt end until march the next year so i waited and waited. I also asked my mom like a million times and i got a cell phone for christmas. My mom had cingular and she got me a verizon phone. This situation might happen. If it doesnt then just wait untill the plan is over and youll get the cell phone.

depending on how much time is left on your contract and how much money you average paying on your bill every month, Cingular will allow you to do an early upgrade. This usually has to be approved by the store manager.

They'll let you renew your contract early if you've fulfilled at least 20/24 months of the contract or sometimes at lest 13/24 months of your current contract. Also you'll have to be paying at least $75 or more every month. If you meet these requirements then you'll be eligible for an early 2yr renewal with 2yr discount on the phone of your choice. Anything outside of these requirements may land you either early 2yr renewal with 1yr discount or SOL depending on the manager.

bypass with Verizon. i've got had it for years and stay section time in Florida, and additionally return and forth lots....and that i've got on no account had any matters with Verizon coverage. I cancelled T-cellular - hated their coverage too!

You have lived all your life without one so 4 months more should be easy.Learn patience it will help you in life.
