Let's see, details... he just turned 16 and I am almost 16, and we have been dating for about a year. It's not at all a "physical" relationship, so *please* no suggestions referencing such things! He is very intelligent, plays soccer, loves video games, and listens to classic rock. As I have already gotten him headphones, a CD, a shirt, and a handwritten card with chocolate over the last few special occasions, I am looking for creative ideas. Since our relationship is not the most serious, I am sure he will not spend more than $15 on me, and so that is about my price limit. Niether of us has a driver's license, so me taking him out to dinner or something wouldn't work very well, especially as Valentine's Day is on a school night. =) I would greatly appreciate your original answer to yet another "What should I get my boyfriend for Valentine's Day?" question, lol! Thanks.

Why not ask him straight out? "Be your valentine? What does that mean?" (If you want to make it sound a little more casual or jokey, maybe add a "ha ha" and a smiley face.) If he asks you out on a date or anything like that, just tell him something like, "Oh, I guess I didn't tell you I have a boyfriend." Be honest and direct. You're only leading a guy on if you know he's interested and give him reasons to hope and nothing more. I don't consider telling a male friend he's cute to be leading a guy on.

Try getting him Cool Water colonge,
a necklace in yellow gold(Men's chains),
a sweater in his favorite color,
or set up a movie called:The NoteBook
(if you're allowed to watch PG-13 movies.)
and order pizza 1/2 your fave 1/2 his,
and have some sparkling red grape juice
in champagne glasses and enjoy.
I'm sure he'll like that.

A personalized message in a bottle is a pretty neat gift.

Type in "Valentine Gift" on eBay and there's a Nieman Marcus catalog you can give him. So you could say you gave him everything in their store.

a nice framed photo of the two of you together would be a good choice since Vday is all about you two!

Well, that second sentence ruled out everything I'm getting my boyfriend for Valentines so, never mind.

So, cook him dinner, or, whatever. Order pizza and say you made it, I don't give a flying fig.
